We are in receipt of the above referenced complaint against Townsend Tree Service Company, LLC ("Townsend")We believe this complaint has erroneously filed against TownsendOur understanding of the Revdex.com is that its job is to handle complaints regarding customer transactionsAs you will see in this situation, there has been no customer relationship between the person filing the complaint and Townsend.As background to explain the relationship between Townsend and the person filing the complaint, Townsend entered into an Agreement for Vegetation Management Services with the electrical utility company which provides services to the person's home ("Utility"), whereby Townsend agreed to act as an independent contractor for Utility to provide vegetation management services according to Specifications provided by Utility in specified Utility areasThe specifications include multiple pages of responsibilities and standards pursuant to which Townsend agreed to provide these services on behalf of Utility, including specifications for customer communications, working in Utility rights-of-way, removal of pruned limbs and debris and addressing customer complaintsTownsend performs the services at the locations identified by Utility, under the easements granted to Utility by the various property owners across whose land Utility's energy lines runAt no time during this process did this person become a customer of TownsendOur contract for services is with Utility and is governed by the term our contract with UtilityTownsend has nit been engaged nor compensated by the person filing the complaint to provide any customer related servicesOf course, we take our obligations to Utility and its customers very seriouslyand have complied in all respects with our obligations to under the contract with Utility as well as all out own policies and procedures related to complaints that arise as a result of the work we performI can assure you that our management team has met with the person filing the complaint and that they have reached an amicable solution that is scheduled to be implemented within the next two (2) weeksPlease contact me directly if you require additional informationBest regards, The Townsend Corporation Michelle M [redacted] Executive Vice President/Chief Legal & Risk Officer
